A former high school Business Education teacher, Nancy, grew up on a farm on the New River in southwestern VA (Giles County) one of a family of 8. ) She graduated from Radford University with a BS degree in Business Education and began teaching in Lynchburg, VA (Rustburg & Brookville High Schools) where she sponsored both cheerleading and FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America).
Nancy is married to her business partner, Steve Whitfield. They have one son, Butch Whitfield, who currently lives in Decatur, GA and is a top producer with Harry Norman Real Estate in Midtown. (Atlanta)
Nancy moved to Burlington, NC with her family in 1983 and worked at Williams High School until she began working with, Steve Whitfield, in 1995. She currently supports the team with help as they need it in whatever areas that would be of value to them and continues on the Alamance Community College Foundation Board as a board member emeritus.
Education is one of Nancy’s strongest interests. She is the past chair person for the Alamance County “Teacher of the Year” committee - a position she held for over 10 year. She, also, served on the Education Council, Alamance Community College’ Foundation board as well as served 2 terms on ARMC Charitable Foundation Board. Giving to the community is extremely important to Nancy and the WPT.
Nancy’s fun things to do are impromptu entertaining at home and known for her "theme" & "game" parties and being with family as well as golf, travelling and reading.
Nancy’s mission is to do “good,” be the best she can be and to make a difference while having FUN.

Steve was born in Trimont, Minn. He grew up in a household of 6 children. He began work at an early age delivering newspaper and once he got his drivers’ license he moved from the bike to driving 150 miles each Sunday delivering papers while in high school.
Steve, Broker-In-Charge of the WP Team, is a graduate of UNC – Chapel Hill with a major in public speaking. He taught English and public speaking at EC Glass High School in Lynchburg, VA before going in to real estate. He has experience with assisting seniors as a Senior Real Estate Specialist and also holds a GRI designation. Steve has a reputation for being a “results” oriented advocate for buyers and sellers. He understands the hopes and dreams of buyers and sellers in Alamance County and works daily to make those dreams a reality.
In Steve’s free time he enjoys golf, football, spending time with family as well as travelling and working on projects in the yard. Gardening in the spring and summer is a big deal to him. Most importantly, he assists Nancy in hosting their "impromptu" gatherings with her many themes and games.
Steve’s mission is to share his knowledge and experience with the buyers and sellers he works with as well as the team while having FUN.

Michele was born in Boynton Beach, FL and she lived in Palm Springs, FL before moving to North Carolina.
She is married to Jesse and they have 2 sons – one a graduate of NC State and the other at student at NC State.
Michele has experience in many different fields- teacher assistant, hotel and retail experience as well as being a former Mortgage Broker and became a Licensed Real Estate Agent since 2010.
She enjoys Photography and quiet walks on sunny days with her “senior” dogs. She said a wise person once said "Blessed is the man that has earned the love of an old dog."
Michele is the Listings Manager and a Buyer Specialist. When you list with the WPT, Michele is your “go to” person. She keeps you regularly updated with what is going with your home. She keeps the team on track and keeps things running smoothly. She, also, assists Jesse and Steve as a Buyer Specialist when she is needed. Michele has an ability to make things happen.
Michele’s mission with the WPT is, as the Listings Manager, to communicate with the sellers in all aspects of the listing process in order to create the best experience possible from the listing day to the closing of the sale. When working with buyers, she strives to help them find the home of their dreams as they prepare to make new memories in their new homes.

Buying, selling and moving has been a part of Tracey's life since she met her husband, Bob Shea, in 1981. Bob is a retired Navy Captain and after 25 years in the Navy and 15 moves as a couple, she understands the real estate process both personally and professionally?
Tracey was born and raised in a coastal community, south of Boston, Massachusetts. She has embraced each of the 9 states she has called home. She has worked in both residential and commercial real estate, elementary education and as a flight attendant. Her favorite job was raising their 2 sons, RJ, who graduated from Bowdoin College and Andrew, who graduated from the US Naval Academy.
Tracey loves time with her family and friends, photography, golf and anything that allows her to spend time in the great outdoors.

Bill was born and raised in New York - spending most of his time on Long Island - before he and his family moved to NC in 2006 for a better quality of life. He has a BS degree in finance.
Bill is married to Trisha, and they have 3 children. And they live between Burlington and Greensboro.
While he was selling his home in New York, he was very involved in the process of marketing his home for sale. After moving to the area, his interest in real estate continued and he obtained his North Carolina real estate license in Jan 2007.
Bill’s, “down time” is spent with his family and attending sports events where his children are involved. He loves sports, especially baseball.
He always says “treat others as you would want to be treated.”
As a Buyer Specialist, Bill’s goal is to make the home buying process as easy as possible for his buyers. He has assisted and succeeded in helping buyers purchase homes when there appeared to be no way. He loves challenges. He prides himself on his communication skills and staying on task until the end when working with buyers.
As part of the Listing Team, Bill is responsible for photos, signs and internet marketing for each listing.

Jennifer Stokes, Broker, REALTOR® - 336.675.8011
Jennifer was born and raised in Burlington. She is married to Terry, who is also a native of Burlington, Together they have 4 children. Jennifer graduated from UNC Greensboro with a BS in Psychology. Jennifer and her husband are small business owners of a “Curves For Women.”
Her experience as a Social Worker and business owner have enabled her to develop strong listening skills and increased her desire to work with people and help them achieve their life goals.
Jennifer and her husband breed Golden Retrievers and are both involved in coaching. Jennifer's other passions include travel, being at the ocean, boating, spending time with her family and dogs, as well as various other outdoor activities.
As part of the WPT Listing Department, Jennifer, is one of the first people you will meet face-to-face to talk about listing your property.
Jennifer enjoys working with both buyers and sellers and her knowledge of Alamance County and surrounding area is an asset for buyers moving into or relocating to this area. Helping others has always been a life's passion and continues with her work in real estate.
